Just as we’re starting to come into spring and all the good things that come along with it, Flume has dropped his latest, aptly named “ Tropical Sun .”
“Tropical Sun” fits comfortably within the catalogue of Flume’s recent produce, though explores new ground with a more deep/house sound. Deep and smooth grooving baselines alongside some tight drum work form the foundation for the driving melodic chimes and vocal samples. The result is some very sweet sound.
Going from strength to strength Flume is set to graduate from making us dance at our computers to getting us very rowdy at his up-and-coming Parklife show on 6 October. Until then, “Tropical Sun” is working wonders, and will continue to do so as it brings us through to summer.
