UK tech rockers Disclosure bring in 2013 with new track, ‘ White Noise ’. It’s equally as solid as many of the great sounds that helped them become one of Britain’s hottest exports in 2012.
This time the brotherly duo teamed up with AlunaGeorge , a duo starting to make waves with their smooth 90s UK RnB. Its a well-suited match considering many of Disclosure’s tracks carry 90s vibes already.
‘White Noise’ moves ever so slightly away from the radio/pop appeal of their 2012 monster ‘ Latch ’ and is a fine example of how Disclosure manages to walk the thin line of critical and commercial success.
You can hear a trademark Disclosure beat throughout the song – crowded but succinct. Falsetto vocals and dreamy, synth hooks flow together nicely, until the song comes into its own in a deep shift around the 2:56 mark
All up it makes for some great listening and is sure to get plenty of love locally and on their UK home ground, which they continue to dominate.
If you like what you hear make sure you bookmark that SoundCloud link, as the single isn’t out till 24 March. What a tease.
