Tight production, dream-like melodies and electronic blurring are a just a few of my favourite things. On the outset of their national tour, Willow Beats have released their latest single of the same name, ‘ Alchemy ‘.
This track sees me catapulted into a dreamscape of liberation as I am buoyed along feeling weightless. Surging in the middle into a soft and subdued interlude I am only thrown back into the transcendent state of this pure electronic bliss.
Willow Beats were a stand out for me at THE RIPE ‘s 1st Birthday earlier last month and hold a live set like seasoned artists.
I cannot wait to see how this duo continues to flourish and set the bar for Melbourne and Australia’s dance scene.
Willow Beats can be found at The Workers Club on Tuesday of every month and will travel across the country throughout March on their national tour.
