Some big overseas bands return this week, including The Pixies who have just unveiled their first original song in nine years. It’s served up nicely alongside ‘ Melody Calling ‘ the new, smoother track from UK rockers The Vaccines . To pick up the pace, Joe Goddard from Hot Chip has teamed up with German dance producer Boris Dlugosch on their new song ‘ Step Together ‘ and Bloc Party grace our ears with ‘ Ratchet ‘ ahead of their forthcoming (and possibly last ever) EP scheduled for release on 12 August via Frechkiss Records. There’s also new music from Joakim , Sinden , Cyril Hahn , The Dodos and stacks more.
