The Naked And Famous have returned to our ears over the weekend through a fresh collection of remixes and B-sides, recently uploaded to Soundcloud. The series includes a collaboration with the bands ‘good friends’ Kids Of 88 and some pretty unique tweaks from Young Magic and OPOSSOM.
“ A Source Of Light ” is the true standout in the series. Soft climbing piano keys and a driving kick-beat escalate the song in to a progressive dance track backed up by sweet, innocent vocals.
Young Magic add lush, jarred elements to ‘The Ends’ - creating a reverbating soundscape which seems to subtly evolve and shift its shape throughout. Meanwhile, OPOSSOM has gone nuts, turning “ A Wolf In Geek’s Clothing ” in to a psycadelic whirlwind.
These songs are available on the Remixes & B-Sides album out May 20th.
