Indie pop songstress Banks is fairly new on the scene – and her latest collab with legendary producer Totally Enormous Extinct is sure to continue building the buzz surrounding her. ‘ Warm Water’ is the new slow and steady electronic ballad that allows Banks to show off her vocal abilities on top of ‘TEEDS’ Phill Collins -esk backing.
For me, the song is a little on the bland side – it just fails to emerge me in it’s world and as a result I find myself struggling to get involved. That being said, it demonstrates that Banks has the ability to tee up some pretty incredible collaborations and damn, the girl can sing. Definitely one to keep an eye on over the rest of this year.
