“ Red “ is the soft new track from Phoria. The song unfolds like an elegant piano ballad, combining neatly arranged chords with weaving textures. The hypnotic vocal melody creates a sense of calm alongside consistant claps and clicks that drive a steady rhythm throughout.
A breakaway shortly after the fourth minute tries to elevate the song to the next level – and for me, it just falls short. I feel like some thundering cymbals could have added that extra element of drama and epic-ness. That being said, the song is an easy ride that rocks you gently in to a subdued state of mind and it works well.
