We’re stoked to be featuring such a diverse collection of new Aussie and international releases in this weeks playlist. There’s a solid mix of recognisable names and some new ones we recommend you get familiar with.
On the acoustic-pop front, heavy-hitters Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeroes are joined by a force of Aussie singer/songwriters, including new music from Josh Pyke, Matt Corby and Hey Geronimo.
The growing wave of emerging Australian electronic producers also dominate the mix this week. We’ve been busy listening to Oisima remixing fellow Adelaide producer How Green, music from Willow Beats new EP , Ta-Ku ‘s latest edit of Daughter, Japanese Wallpaper remixing GodWolf and a new track from Matt Cant (*deep breath).
The Smith Westerns cop a mention with ‘ 3am Spiritual ‘ ahead of their new album ‘ Soft Will ‘ (out on June 25th). They’re joined by flavoursome surf-rock from the Go-Violets .
