Most of the time, you’ll find Alison aggressively dancing to gangster hip-hop or luring randoms into a savage rap battles, but occasionally she does other things. When this grammar Nazi isn’t collecting slugs she’s subjecting herself to moshpit violence in order to review gigs for The Ripe. Her favourite things are obscure rock music and mashed potato with strawberry Nesquik (there’s just no way that could be nice).
Alison may have been born without a neck, but that doesn’t stop her from enjoying huge amounts of tunes and conducting the best interviews The Ripe has seen since the last one she did. If you see Alison on the street she might give you the finger, but don’t let that discourage you from trying to be her friend – underneath her meerkat exterior is a music loving ukulele enthusiast who won’t hesitate to fight you.
