I’lls new video clip for successful first single ‘ Plans Only Drawn ‘, is simple yet effective.
From the opening visual we are met with the identifiable figure of Simon Lam’s silhouette on a rear projection background. The projections accompany the ambient landscape of layered electronic instrumentals and ethereal vocals from Lam, as he simply stands there and is engulfed by the imagery.
Transfixed on the screen, I pull myself away. After entering some sort of hypnotic state, looking at all the pretty shapes and colours, I can’t help but feel a little dazed. The video clip is surreal, imagery of Simon Lam’s face projected back onto himself made me feel as though I had fallen into some sort of alternate reality. Reminding me of experimental film , except with less nudity.
Get lost in this video clip, enjoy the music and it’s fantastic visual representation by it’s directors and artists. I’lls are quality and this video is quality. Enjoy.
