Australian producer extrordinaire Ta-Ku is dropping his latest EP, Songs To Break Up To , on October 8th. But for now, in generous Ta-Ku style, he has released a free track to keep us heartbroken until then (not on Songs To Break Up To EP).
‘ Krule Love ‘ is an ode to, potentially, one of the albums of the year by King Krule . ‘Krule Love’ samples King Krule’s ‘ Cementality ‘ off the acclaimed 6 Feet Beneath The Moon LP, taking from it an awesome piano line and delicate guitar chords. Pair what with with the intricate click-clacks of Ta-ku’s drum beats and his signature vocal pitching and you have a Ta-ku classic.
I have written about this before, as I am sure many others have, but I have to point out the pure output of Ta-Ku. It is astounding. I just looked up his soundcloud and was going to drop all of the remixes and tracks he has made in the last year but there are just too fucking many.
