Need to get a new song in your head? ‘ Move’ is the latest single from the kids from my hometown Newcastle. The kids I am referring to are Mausi and they’ve given us a catchy little slice of synth pop heaven. A song that has the potential to get every man and his dog jumping around like summer will never end, ‘Move’ will take your worries away in an instant. You can taste a bit of Phoenix in their sound and it is no surprise as they name them as one of their main influences, along with other synth pop bands Pony Pony Run Run and Friendly Fires . In this song they do really capture that indie blissfulness that those bands have also created. It’s so brilliantly catchy that it will now be in my head for months to come. Cool party jam.
