The men responsible for possibly my favourite album release of last year are at it again.
are back with The Soultape 2 , another compilation of tidbit arrangements that take soul and hip hop and amalgamate them into one sexy series of proclamations on love and loss.
Honestly, you shouldn’t expect me to be able to eloquently describe the feelings this music provokes. Just know that one day, when I’m rocking back on my front porch, feeble and crinkly, I’ll still be listening to these albums and dreaming.
This collection is a little longer than the first, each piece more developed and fleshed out. Listen out for ‘ When They Met ’ and ‘ Without Me ’, probable standouts (at least for me). Though what you really want to do is listen to this album from start to finish. Each track complements and bookends one another in a fashion that’ll transport you away from your worries.
