I don’t know why I am drawn to this song. But I am back for more as soon as it finishes. D E N A reminds me of an Eastern European, M.I.A. She seems to have the same dose of insanity evidenced in her videoclip for, “Cash, Diamond Rings, Swimming Pools” . But she isn’t just limited to being a nutter. She skillfully legitimates her crazy flare with obvious musical uniqueness. She is so distinct from the mainstream and I love that. A break from Western music and culture is gladly welcomed. I also respect people that fly their freak flag. This post is sounding like a diagnoses for a mental illness. It isn’t. I just love and respect those that unleash the crazy inside of them fearlessly. So crank it up freaks and set your crazy free. Respect, Sister.
